For different goals such as losing weight, or gaining muscle, there will be a different calculation.

  • NSF – independent, third-party body that verifies the purity and safety of each batch of supplements it certifies.
    • NSF sport – same as NSF and adds in that nothing is banned from any professional sport and everything meets what all the major sports can have. A banned substance gives an athlete a competitive edge.

    • Consumer labs have a lot of info on stains for different conditions that will give you access if you want to see.

  • Labdoor – independent company that tests supplements. They buy products off retail shelves and online sites. Then, send a sample of each product to an FDA-registered laboratory for a detailed chemical analysis, which includes measurements of active ingredients and potential contaminants.

  • Informed Choice: voluntary third party quality assurance and third-party supplement testing program, designed to minimize the risks of dietary supplement products from being inadvertently contaminated with prohibited and potentially harmful substances. Through our retail monitoring and testing program, we help reduce the risk of impurities and banned substances entering these products.
